Robert Half HR Services is seeking a dynamic Payroll Specialist . This is a short term engagement for their client in San Jose. We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage weekly and bi-weekly processing of the payroll. The ideal candidate is experienced with payroll with outstanding people skills and the ability to initiate process improvements in a fast-paced and high-growth environment. Perform daily payroll operations;
Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance;
Process accurate and timely quarterly and year-end reporting;
Reconcile payroll and validate reports;
Understand proper taxation rules;
Track time and attendance;
Process manual checks and expense reimbursements;
Assist with developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting.
