Responsibilities

  • Define the security strategy for the enterprise, from products to Cloud Operations and IT

  • Maintain and enhance corporate security standards in conjunction with the CIO

  • Maintain and enhance security standards for cloud operations in conjunction with Cloud Operations and IT

  • Work with the Standards and Compliance team to achieve appropriate security certifications

  • Work with product engineering management to determine product security standards and features

  • Provide oversight for contractual commitments related to security and privacy in conjunction with Legal

  • Work with PSIRT team to evaluate and respond to product security issues

  • Perform security assessments for potential acquisitions

  • Perform security assessments for potential service providers

  • Champion education on security strategy and technology throughout the organization

  • Work with customers on security strategies involving TIBCO products

  • Manage customer security events

Qualifications

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related technical major, or significant job experience

  • Very strong interpersonal relationship skills

  • Understanding of security frameworks, coding best practices and risk analysis

  • Experience with threat modeling

  • Experience in software security development, static code analysis, fuzzing, and penetration testing

  • Experience with protocols such as HTTP/s, JMS, POX, SOAP, and JSON

  • Knowledge of object-oriented design and programming concepts, modular and component design

  • Programming skills in Java or C/C++ is a plus
