Job DescriptionHOSPITAL INVENTORY COORDINATORDESCRIPTION: Under general supervision, work in a hospital setting delivering supplies to clinicians while providing excellent customer service. Other duties include pulling orders, collecting soiled linen, collecting soiled equipment, delivering oxygen, assisting clinicians with supplies in a clinical unit, and other assignments as assigned by the manager, supervisor and lead. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Pulling orders from storeroom and delivering supplies throughout hospital to clinicians.2. Collecting soiled linen from linen chutes and transporting to dock for staging.3. Collecting soiled equipment from soiled utility rooms and transporting to Sterile Processing for staging.4. Delivering oxygen tanks to requesting unit when needed.5. Assisting clinicians with supplies in a clinical unit.6. Transporting used cardboard to recycled cardboard compactor. 7. Building kits as assigned by supervisor.8. Breaking down pallets and consolidating supply totes. Preparing supplies for delivery to units.9. Performing put away of supplies on PAR carts and ordering supplies via handheld for next day JIT delivery.10. Performing general housekeeping to include standard storeroom and dock cleanliness as assigned by supervisor.WORK EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years of relevant experience. Experience in healthcare. Experience in a customer service oriented environment.STRENGTH REQUIREMENT: Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
