VMware Subject Matter Expert – T3 Support Staff (Palo Alto, CA) in Palo Alto, California

Serve as subject-matter expert for vCloud solutions and work as the technical point of contact for cloud automation implementations. Work directly with customers to architect and implement vRealize suite solutions within customers’ infrastructure. Identify requirements and scope, implementation planning and service delivery in order to meet the clients’ business objectives. Handle technical escalations from customers and servers as highest point of contact for product-related escalations. Lead professional service engagements driving service revenues and on target achievements for the successful deployment & adoption of the components in the vRealize platform. In connection with the above duties, apply knowledge and/or skills of gathering client requirements or analyzing business needs; preparing requirements specifications; evaluating or recommending software or hardware solutions to meet user needs; interacting with business users to define application requirements; and writing use cases or test cases based on client requirements. Requires travel up to 100% with work to be performed at various unknown worksites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting permitted.
