CTG is immediately hiring an experienced Lawson Administrator to provide support to our large healthcare client in their effort to go live with version 10 of Lawson. The Lawson Administrator is key to keeping the system up and running and the primary resource in troubleshooting any system problems.

Location : Grafton, WI but remote work is ok for the right individual!

Project Duration : 6 month W2 contract, extensions possible

Job Role Description :

  • Serve as Senior Lawson Implementation & Support Specialist to a health care facility in the general Milwaukee, WI area, helping them with the preparation, configuration, and migration to their new INFOR 10 PROD and TEST environments.

  • Perform transition activities for the client’s new Infor / Lawson 10 ERP System from their legacy ERP system.

  • Participate in training the technician support staff on how to manage and support the new Infor 10 ERP Environment including its UNIX and Windows Servers.

  • Perform administration, provisioning, support, and maintenance of production and test environments for UNIX and Windows Servers.

Required Skills and Experience Include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is required.

  • 3 years of experience in systems software engineering or programming in an information systems department that includes experiences in developing, analyzing, modifying, installing, testing, and maintaining software and large system components and working with large systems software using one or more major operating systems.

  • Experience in maintaining a software suite, including middleware software components.

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of platform systems and software.

  • Demonstrated ability to work and function in a complex corporate environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, and to interpret and communicate technical materials, instruct others, prepare and present reports.

  • Demonstrated skills and experience in developing project plans and timelines, implementing project tasks, and evaluating project outcomes.

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
