Corporate Human Resources develops and implements people strategies to support Wells Fargo’s business objectives. This group manages compensation and benefits, human resource service centers, systems and payroll, finance, team member relations and assistance, talent management, learning and development, and recruiting. This position, within the Regional Bank Recruiting Team, will be responsible for high-volume, full-life cycle recruitment activities for the positions within our retail branches. This Recruiter will develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of internal leadership, while directing all recruiting-related activities to deliver on specific talent acquisition strategies. They will plan and conduct innovative employment sourcing campaigns to recruit qualified candidates, with an emphasis on diversity. This individual will also develop and maintain effective working relationships in the local community to source qualified candidates and build pipelines for future openings.

This Recruiter will be responsible for delivering a positive and efficient candidate experience by demonstrating effective communication skills and providing candidates with accurate and complete information. It will be critical for this individual to stay current with industry trends, developments and changes. This individual will be expected to plan and conduct innovative recruiting strategies to recruit top talent in a high volume environment. Demonstrating effective risk management and controls for OFCCP compliance is a minimum expectation to include accurate documentation and requisition management, while consulting hiring managers on same.

Location: San Jose, CA or San Leandro, CA

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Sourcing, recruiting and screening qualified candidates from external and internal sources.

  • Conduct phone screens and measure candidates against a specific job profile, recommend candidates to hiring managers for in-person interviews, disposition both external and internal candidates.

  • Working knowledge of State and Federal employment law, EEO, Affirmative Action and Diversity Policies.

  • Develops innovative sourcing strategies to increase the quantity, quality and diversity of the candidate pool.

  • Coordinates and participates in Wells Fargo sponsored job/community fairs to promote the Wells Fargo Employment Brand.

  • Maintains an ongoing relationship with professional schools.

  • Works with management to guide the interview process, while ensuring a fair and equitable hiring decision is made and documented appropriately.

  • Gathers documents and maintains candidate information for legal and system’s compliance.

  • Consults with managers to ensure offers of employment are in line with the Wells Fargo’s compensation philosophy.

  • Works closely with hiring managers in understanding their business needs, and building trusting and positive relationships by providing recruiting knowledge and strategic recruiting solutions.

  • Deliver a positive and efficient candidate experience by demonstrating effective communication skills and providing candidates with accurate and complete information.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, human resources experience, or a combination of both

  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a high volume environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

  • A BS/BA degree or higher

  • Ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies

  • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership

  • Financial services experience

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of full cycle recruiting methods in a high volume environment

  • Knowledge and understanding of HR policies, practices and procedures, including an understanding of legal and OFCCP recruiting requirements

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Strong risk management and compliance skills

  • Applicant tracking systems experience

  • Internet sourcing experience

  • Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
