What You Will Be Doing
Daily oversight of entire project
To have a thorough and complete knowledge and understanding of the General Contract, each Subcontract, and the contract drawings, specifications, and addenda
To provide leadership to establish and maintain a positive working environment with all on-site personnel
To ensure that the day-to-day coordination of trade contractors and subcontractors turns out high-quality work that meets the approved project schedule
To manage the project budget for general conditions and site services
To examine the contract drawings, specifications and addenda for design deficiencies, impractical details and possible code violations, and to bring these to the attention of the Project Manager
To create, manage and update the project schedule, including creating and implementing contingency plans when necessary
To communicate schedule status, updates and changes to the Project Manager and subcontractors
To conduct maintenance and planning of work-arounds, shutdowns and tie-ins
To plan and review the overall project plan with the Project Manager including quality control procedures, safety and security practices, field office location and layout, temporary facilities and utilities, staging areas, equipment and manpower
