Job Summary

Apple is looking for a resourceful, energetic individual to assist the development team with BOM's, Program and Material Management. Someone who thrives in a fast pace environment and responds to changes quickly.

The Wireless Design group is a growing high energy, results oriented team. An EPS (Engineering Project Specialist) must be able to prioritize issues and track the details. An EPS must be a fearless organizer, ready to work with Engineering Project Managers, Hardware, Product Design, and Software teams to manage the risks associated with early manufacturing builds.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience with PRQs and Allocation

  • Must have good structured BOM experience (preferably in AGILE/Nimbus)

  • Strong Presentation and Database analysis including Visual Basic experience

  • Understand configuration management and BOM structuring

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal)

  • Proficient in MS Excel

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Experience implementing new tools and systems

  • Motivated by challenges with good problem solving skills; good conflict resolution skills

  • General understanding of custom fabrication, MLB and electrical components.

  • Working closely with project leads, the program manager partitions tasks into a work breakdown structure, identifies key milestones, test schedules, and regulatory requirements.

  • Combination of organizational and detail-oriented skills when working on multiple projects

  • Able to participate in strategic planning, identifying issues and actions and communicating program information at the appropriate levels

Request and manage Allocations from multiple departments

Manage PRQs for multiple departments

Create BOM's (Bill of Materials,) part numbers and archive related technical documentation in AGILE/NIMBUS

Manage and Maintain BOMs (including submitting ECO’s)

Work on multiple projects, simultaneously

Work with PD and Vendor for Drawings/Specifications

Vendor Management

Education

BA/BS degree and 2+ years of industry experience
