Job Description: * Increase revenue and lead creation by focusing on proactively finding and qualifying more targeted leads using telephone and email media and converting those to sales-ready new opportunities for our Field Sales reps. * Key Relationships - NA Sales Team and Molecular Devices customers (existing and potential). Key Responsibilities: * Perform a high volume of cold calls in order to develop qualified leads for our Field reps. * Actively generating leads by contacting customers from campaign listings and introducing them to the features and benefits of the products and services available in an informative and attractive way. * Increase Lead to Opportunity conversion based on quota and more. * Carry-out established campaign processes and procedures and maintain CRM database. * Follow daily management of inside sale campaigns and CRM work standards. * Ensure that all customer communications are recorded accurately * Increase customer awareness, knowledge and interest in Molecular Devices products and services. * Provide assistance in developing and increasing opportunity creation. * Help drive targeted campaigns across multiple product line. * Plan for the achievement and support of sales targets. * Ownership of a monthly, quarterly, annual quota for creating sales-ready leads. * Accomplish targeted performance objectives on a consistent basis * Takes responsibility for own personal development and knowing about the market and competition.
Qualifications: •3-5 years’ experience within Life Sciences field Experience: •Experience via telesales or face to face of promoting and selling scientific equipment and or complex products in a professional and intellectual market. •Proven ability to provide excellent customer relationships, whilst maintaining a high degree of sales focus. •Proven experience prioritizing and accomplishing complex tasks including sales related support responsibilities •Proven track record in achieving results, goals and job metrics Skills: •Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in areas of building relationships, persuasion and research. •Good working knowledge of CRM (Oracle, Salesforce.com) and MS Office (Word, Excel) •Be self-motivated with demonstrative interpersonal and organizational skills. •A positive outlook and resilience towards challenging priorities •Ability to work in a constructive way with colleagues.
