PDS Tech Inc Design Coordinator in Santa Clara, California

PDS TECH INC. is seeking Design Coordinator located in Santa Clara Valley, CA.

Summary:

  1. Assist the Design Managers in preparing for weekly meetings and presentations for their respective projects.

This involves printing files, formatting presentation banners, hanging the banners in the presentation spaces and organizing the presentation space before and clean up after the reviews.

This preparation work involves back and forth interaction with Design Managers to ensure visual materials are correct and formatted properly.

Also note taking and documentation of meetings/reviews to follow each presentation review session.

  1. Coordination of the Design ‘look ahead’ calendar.

This is done on a daily basis with a rolled up summary at the end of the week. It is a fluid document that involves frequent changes based on incoming information.

Most effective way to do this is through face to face touch base with each Design Manager, the Geo Design Lead, and other departmental coordinators.

  1. Organize ‘Now’ project folders for current and upcoming projects; these are hard copies of documents that are constantly updated with new prints of renderings and drawings; check in and confirmation with Design Managers is critical.

There are always other miscellaneous tasks that come up during day that require attention and need for collaborative work with others in the department; maintaining printers, supplies, and distributing drawing packs from reprographic services.
