Lenovo Product Marketing Manager - Networking in Santa Clara, California

Lenovo Data Center Group is looking for a seasoned Sr. Product Marketing Manager to join networking Go To Market (GTM) team. The candidate will lead product marketing for Lenovo’s networking portfolio including networking hardware, software (OS, Virtualization, SDN, NFV, Telmetry) and solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop business level messaging and value proposition for Lenovo networking products and solutions.

  • Develop message map and product marketing collateral including data sheets, customer presentations, product positioning and promotion, websites, external publications, etc.

  • Work with cross functional teams in central marketing organization to promote networking. Responsible for event strategy, external communications, analysts and media relations for networking.

  • Work with solutions teams to evangelize networking portfolio and highlight networking value proposition in solutions.

  • Support executives for external and internal discussions including developing executive level presentations

  • Responsible for sales enablement, interlocks with worldwide sales and regional marketing customer

  • Competitive intelligence and analysis. Publish and maintain relevant information.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including engineering, product management, CMO, analyst relations, media relations, sales, systems engineering, training, and channel organizations to develop and communicate the value of networking offers.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to convert technical jargon to business level value propositions.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage various programs simultaneously.

Requires the ability to create innovative messages that differentiate Lenovo in the highly competitive networking market. Develop presentations and marketing collateral on short notice. Flexibility to handle a broad portfolio and a variety of programs. The ideal candidate will have the following requirements:

  • BS Degree in Marketing / Communications / business administration or Engineering

  • 10+ Years of product marketing in Networking Industry

  • Masters Degree is a plus, MBA preferred
