  • High degree of proficiency in Excel required, experience with enterprise software systems (SAP, SQL) strongly preferred


As an analyst on the WW Retail Sales Finance team, you will own the Apple-branded unit sales forecasting and analysis for the Retail channel, which includes the Apple Store online as well as the 500+ physical locations around the world. From global buying patterns down to individual product performance, this team has the unique ability to participate in many aspects of the business.

In this role, innovative analytical and financial leadership are required at both the macro and micro levels, as this team is responsible for understanding product and country seasonality and leveraging that information to develop an accurate and thoughtful forecast. The ongoing forecasting process consists of a review of the current and future quarter forecast including the following:

Deep understanding of actual to forecast variances for the week just ended

Revision of the to-go forecast based on global supply considerations, consumer/competitive trends, and product lifecycle expectations

Identification of any risk and opportunity to the current forecast

Presentation of the forecast to the Retail leadership team

Product launch forecasting, analysis and evaluation

Partnering with the revenue/margin forecast team to align demand expectations

Promotion and program forecasting, analysis and evaluation

Frequent ad hoc analysis to support the forecast and other business needs

This role meets regularly with the WW Retail geo business teams to gather country-specific information and the global inventory teams to discuss the current forecast and any associated risks and opportunities to ensure store inventory is adequate for forecasted sales. Additionally, this role gets the opportunity to partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Corporate FP&A, Product Marketing, Operations, Merchandising, Analytics, and many other Apple corporate teams.


Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, with strong academic performance
