Apple is looking for a seasoned, passionate, Product Manager who is highly motivated by building great products to join the Apple Music team. You will challenge the organization to create focus on our customers and manage the plan to get Apple’s products to the people that will love them.
The Content Products, Product Manager will be involved in the creation, development, and launch of features that make playing content simple and engaging. In this role, you will work with design, content, engineering, editorial, and analytics to transform how subscribers listen, watch, and interact with Apple Music content. It also includes writing requirements documents, exploring new technologies, collecting customer feedback, guiding communications for plans and launches, and acting as a spokesperson for your features.
5+ years of experience in software/media product development
Thorough knowledge of iOS, macOS, tvOS, watchOS; Windows and Android a plus
Very strong oral and written communication skills
Very strong presentation skills
User-interface design or software engineering experience also a plus
Time management and prioritization skills are critical.*
Makes clear recommendations across the product development cycle from early development, launch, growth, and obsolescence—guiding execution of features across multiple versions.
Manages the process used to develop product features and positioning relative to other products.
Authors proposals for features that creatively achieve customer and business goals.
Develops and experiments with new approaches to innovate how content is played.
Creates and delivers formal presentations and conducts group discussions on products for a wide range of Apple audiences.
Plays a key role in the launch of new features.
