How do we showcase the work of creative developers? How can we make the App Store a place our hundreds of millions of customers will want to visit every single day?

We’re hiring people who want to help make that happen.

We are looking for a Sr. Advertising Manager to join the App Store team. You will be responsible for the global paid media strategy and execution across all advertising channels. You will create advertising campaigns and programs that captivate customers and help them discover great apps and games.

Key Qualifications

  • At least 7 years in paid advertising, with extensive experience creating and executing global consumer-focused performance marketing strategies

  • Strategic mindset and demonstrated ability to lead the development and execution of effective media plans based on brand objectives and campaign goals. Goal for each marketing activation may range from brand awareness, traffic, driving downloads or billings growth

  • Deep experience with digital advertising channels: display, social, paid search, in-app, etc. Experience with offline channels (ex. OOH and TV) is a plus

  • Expert understanding of digital marketing analytics, creative and media best practices by advertising platform

  • Extensive knowledge of current and emerging digital technology and social media platforms

  • Ability to partner with media agencies on strategy development and precise execution of advertising campaigns and programs

  • Track record partnering with creative teams to create compelling marketing materials that engage customers

  • Ability to collaborate with international marketing colleagues to craft optimal advertising strategies and media plans that reflect regional market opportunities and media differences

  • Experience assessing digital tools, vendors, and channels for brand use across multiple markets

  • Extraordinary communication and presentation skills, ability to deliver impactful presentations at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to work collaboratively under pressure, with validated experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects

  • Deep understanding of the iOS ecosystem, monetization, user engagement and acquisition models

  • Results-oriented, energetic and focused with a strong desire to learn and succeed*


The App Store has become an important part of Apple’s product ecosystem. It provides our customers with a daily experience that will enhance their lives through apps and games discovery.

You will have a track record of success in building advertising campaigns and programs, with a focus on digital media. You will lead a global strategy that drives app discovery and business growth through compelling paid marketing communication. You will collaborate with a broad range of teams, including international marketing, editorial and creative teams. You will also lead App Store media agency relationships.


BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, Advertising, or related field preferred.
